The Forge and progression update

This build unifies the Forge identity, separates persistent progression into clearer tracks, improves enemy readability, and delivers another major stability pass for Crownfall and Echoes of the Shadows.

Global systems

  • Renamed the weapon-upgrade system to the Forge across menus, prompts, HUD elements, quest text, and progression.
  • Added clear Forge Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III indicators.
  • Separated Account Levels, Prestige, Weapon Mastery, Oath Mastery, and Challenges into dedicated progression panels.
  • Added in-match activation for General XP, Weapon XP, and Oath XP Tokens.

Maps, enemies, and stability

  • Improved route connectivity, quest item reliability, upper-floor access, and spawn validation in Echoes of the Shadows.
  • Improved Veil Runner, Hushling, Runebearer, Shadowbound, and Doppelghast combat feedback.
  • Improved collision, enemy pathing, and Forge interaction reliability in Crownfall.
  • Fixed the control-lock issue that could allow firing while blocking movement and interaction.

Oaths

  • Removed Scavenger's Sight from the game.
  • Removed the XP previously required to fully master Scavenger's Sight from the overall Oath mastery total.
  • Updated Oath presentation so the current eight-Oath lineup remains consistent across menus and progression.

Menus and presentation

  • Removed temporary development explanations from player-facing menu pages.
  • Oath menus now focus only on identity, cost, unlock level, base effect, progress, and available paths.
  • Cleaned spacing and hierarchy across progression pages for faster reading.

Maps

  • Focused the current game build on Crownfall and Echoes of the Shadows.
  • Removed inactive maps from the public selection flow.
  • Improved route connectivity checks and access logic across playable rooms.

Weapons

  • Noah's Superistic Folly now uses its Tier III output as the base upgraded damage reference.
  • Each additional Forge tier adds 25% damage on top of that intended base.

Controls and stability

  • Fixed a control-lock issue that could leave the player able to fire but unable to move or interact.
  • Improved spawn validation to reduce players entering inside walls or inaccessible geometry.

New map

  • Added Echoes of the Shadows, set across the multi-level Voss Estate.
  • Added Conduit Rune activation, Mourning Bloom, the Threefold Relics, four Echo Trials, and the Umbra Sanctum final gate.
  • Added Noah's Superistic Folly, the Death Machine power-up, new enemies, and a complete Main Quest.

Interface

  • Added full Main Quest item tracking to the Quest List.
  • Adjusted in-match HUD placement to reduce obstruction during indoor combat.
